Why Scripture stays the starting point

A prayer with no scriptural anchor can quickly become a long wish list. Anchoring a prayer in a specific verse changes the nature of it: you're no longer asking at random, you're standing on a promise already written down.

Next time you pray about something specific, look for a verse about it first. Pray that verse before you pray your own words.
